Hello and welcome! My name is Alex Gawlik and I am the owner and principle designer of Electric Blue Design Studio. I was born and raised in Greenville, NC and moved to the Triangle when I was 22. I now live in the woods of Chapel Hill with my husband, our dog, and 7 cats!

I have a multifaceted background in the design industry and use my combined knowledge to give my clients an in-depth, comprehensive roadmap to accomplish their design goals. With years of experience in the retail and distribution of furniture and housewares, home staging, visual merchandising, design project management, and a general passion for aesthetics, I bring a unique point-of-view and valuable resources directly to my clients.

In addition to bespoke interior design work, I am also the Head Stager for RED Collective, a Durham-native boutique real estate firm. Together, we craft colorful stories in our sellers’ homes to give clients the best presentation possible when going on the market.
